5 November 2007 - Now you're talking!!!! Becky and I are finally able to get more than a brief glance/hold of our new grandson as we have now moved within about 10 minutes of the Florida Crawfords. The parents are managing to put up with us on a regular basis (so far) and even hand over their treasure to us to share! Of course it is hard to say how much is enough when it is as good as having an absolutely perfect grandchild to hold but at least we are working on finding out. Matty could not be doing better in all respects - his neck muscles are getting really strong as he holds his head up more and more and his general health is excellent. He now appears to focus his eyes on you as you hold/talk to him and is beginning to respond to sounds and sights in his environment. Here are a few of the latest photos (taken 4 Nov). Note how dad is managing to multi-task and get some rest as he provides warmth and comfort to Matty!
