These three photos were taken in Georgia Veteran Memorial State Park near Cordele, Georgia. We had stopped here on the way to Florida on our last trip and decided to stop again. New find this trip was some GREAT locally made sausage at the little market right at the turn into the park. The link sausage was the BEST I had ever had (I don't tend to even LIKE link sausage). By the way - when the butcher tells you one of his meats is hot, believe him. Get the medium - trust me.
As you can see the sites in this state park are far from small and the park was almost empty both times we have visited. I am sure it gets more use during some periods!
