Ashland Kentucky is just across the state line (and the Ohio River). We read about several things happening in the town so took a day trip to see what it was all about. This is the home of the Judds and is quite a worthwhile place to visit. We could probably spent more time but we had to be gone before the 4th of July so had to only spend a couple of days here. The first one was to visit some of the historic homes. This is a small sampling but gives an idea of how well they have been either kept or restored. They are all near a very large city park where we enjoyed a picnic lunch 'on the ground'. It is truly a beautiful setting.
