These photos were taken of some of the buildings at this museum. They are a small church (still in use), the one room school (note different sizes desks) and the home of the 'founder' of Mitchell. Not shown but some info available on the web site http://www.dakotadiscovery.com/index.html is some great western paintings by Charles Hargens and Oscar Howe. Hargens in particular did many, many prints - mostly for Western Novel covers. He worked in the East but the museum recently acquired his complete studio which was reconstructed inside the museum.
