Worth the drive!

Leaving Emerald Isle 11 June 2006, we were headed back toward to High Point. We planned to stop on the way for a few days at Lake Jordan and, as usual, needed a place to stop for Sunday lunch. We saw several signs on the freeway for the usual chain places and were about to 'pick one' when we saw a advertisement for this place. It was in Wilson, NC and we pulled off the freeway for the six miles or so trip. It was truly out of this world. A whole pig was barbequed for the buffet along with the most outstanding vegetables, chicken and dessert you can imagine! This is part of the fleet available for delivery. The cars were lined up for over a block for the Carry Out and appeared to be as long after the hour we spent in the restaurant as when we went in.
