Not much in the way of waves but your own private beach can't be all bad. It was certainly nice to have this at our door step for a week and reminded us that we had really taken it for granted whilst living in England. Although not as warm as NC, being able to run over to the coast for a day anytime we wanted is a side of Yorkshire you don't normally think of. Maybe a place near water is in our future.
