Blowing Rock NC

One our side trips was to Boone and Blowing Rock, NC. Blowing Rock is a definite tourist town but very well done. Don't even think about buying land around here - $90,000 an acre - but beautiful. This is a sample of the flowers and a great old church. Boone was also interesting but for some reason not particularly photogenic. Plays, concerts and an old time general store are some of its attractions. Maybe next time photos will be in order. Again visited the library to catch up on our email and encountered a first for us - 1 Hour parking!!! Everyone in Boone must be speed readers!!!!
