Oops!!

An unexpected and unpredicted wind our last nights in Wisconsin resulted taught me a lesson in northern weather and awning care. I had tied down the awning when I put it up and felt pretty safe leaving it up that night as there was no weather predicted. We woke up about 2 am by a hard driving rain pelting the trailer. I could hear the awning straining at the brackets and opened the door to try to help steady it but the rain was blowing through the door and I eventually had to let it go. This is the result – no more awnings out at night!
