Quietest Site Yet

We left Indiana and entered Illinois with a few days to kill as we waited for sons Dave and James to get to Bushnell, IL. Dave's niece Carol lives there and we were imposing on her to act as hostess for a few days for the Crawford's to have a rare get-together. Becky found this small campground in the middle of nowhere and it was so quiet to be spooky - almost. We had one whole area of the campground to ourselves with grass bike rides all around. On to of that, one of the friendly neighboring campers provided us with fresh fish (cleaned) and vegetables from their garden (they lived nearby). Even here there was a surprise - the nearest town of any size, Robinson, IL, was the home of the Heath bar (remember them?). Hershey has now purchased them but the factory is still there. The photos are my attempt to capture the quietness.
